Simone and Mike discovered the AxarquÃa region about 10 years ago during a trip through Andalusia. They fell in love with the region and decided to buy and renovate their dream home. Villa Pepita was their first successful creation.
Simone’s passion for redesigning and decorating homes, combined with their hospitality and dedication to providing guests with a wonderful holiday experience, proved to be a unique mix. Hospitality runs in their blood - Mike was the owner of the well-known restaurant ‘De Peerdestal’ in Antwerp for many years.
By then, they had become familiar with the area and decided to purchase another house, transforming it into a luxurious holiday home: Casa Habiba.
Casa Maru had been on their wish list for a while. When it came up for sale, they didn’t hesitate and once again created a dream getaway—house number three.
Simone has a distinctive style that she seamlessly incorporates into all three homes. She blends natural materials with vintage furniture and lighting, while the luxurious finishes, always prioritizing comfort, make the houses a unique retreat for a perfect vacation. Over the years, Mike has collected a variety of artworks, which now beautifully complement their homes.
Together, they warmly welcome guests to one of their ‘tres casas’, ensuring an unforgettable holiday with friends and family under the Spanish sun.

What a great time we had! Casa Maru is yet another gem. A great and tasteful interior and an outdoor oasis of peace. We were able to swim in the October sun!
What a delight it is for foodies to be able to cook in such a fully equipped kitchen. To be able to have an aperitif, sunbathe and relax in various places. And even when it is pouring down, your house offers enough cosy corners to chill.
What a gem! We enjoyed Casa Habiba. A beautiful place in the middle of the mountains of Andalusia, a place where you experience total peace. The house is beautifully decorated and fully equipped (more than expected!). The swimming pool is great for cooling off and playing with the kids. Reception and contact with Simone, among others, is perfect. I can only say: highly recommend!
Just got back from a wonderful week at Villa Pepita. What a fantastic house in a beautiful location in Andalusia. You can relax in and around the house and the hustle and bustle and conviviality of the coast are within driving distance. Would definitely recommend!

What a great house in the middle of beautiful Andalusia. We really enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor spaces. Lots of comfort, fully equipped, great hosts and a short drive from the beach, Malaga and Cordoba. We will be back!
